Police officers in Cambridge have forwarded this message of gratitude to Cambridge Street Pastors from a highly experienced CCTV crew that was on duty in Cambridge over the weekend. The operators said:

“Over the two nights, Friday and Saturday, street pastors have helped with several issues regarding drunk individuals and with other incidents. They are an asset to the city and do their work professionally and without question.”

They added,

“We are well aware that the team – like many other unsung heroes/heroines – works quietly in the background doing a great job keeping the people in Cambridge in the evenings safe. This is often without any recognition and we realise that is not what you look for. It gives us great pleasure to be able to acknowledge the great work your team does and to thank you for all your efforts on behalf of the people of Cambridge.”
