Corby’s Street Pastors have received an award from Corby Community Safety Partnership for the invaluable contribution they make to a safer night-time economy.
The Mayor of Corby, Cllr Anthony Dady, who joined the event, said:
“As the Street Pastors is one of the charities I am raising funds for during my year in office I am very pleased to be able to present them with what is a much deserved award. The work they do is invaluable, whether it is handing out flip flops to stop young women in heels falling over or cutting their feet, to getting revellers into taxis and offering help and advice, they are clearly making a difference and we thank them.”
