Who said what at the presentation of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to Taunton Street Pastors? Listen here and find out!

Taunton Street Pastors Coordinator, Adrian Prior-Sankey, accepted the award on behalf of the Taunton team and reflected on the ‘unexpected encounters’ of the team’s 7 years of service in the town. He ended by saying:

‘This award is a thank you from those we have helped, those that don’t even remember being helped. It is a privilege to represent our Lord Jesus and to put a modern perspective on the parables of the Good Samaritan … we see prayers answered in dramatic ways. It’s not a story often carried by the media, but God is alive, He is doing things in our community, among very ordinary people who don’t seek the limelight. But when the limelight comes we want to say thank you to God, our partners and our friends. Here’s to the next 7 years, with or without an award.’
