123 street and response pastors graduated in London on Saturday 28 November. This annual event is open to all new recruits who have finished their training. This year, teams from 30 towns and cities around the UK were represented at the graduation.
“At graduation we celebrate and demonstrate the spirit of the Church, willing to serve and help the vulnerable in our society.”
Les Isaac, co-founder of Street Pastors
It was wonderful to see some of the ‘early adopters’ of the Response Pastors initiative gather on the stage to receive their certificates. These 30 graduates came from Yeovil, Oxford, Kettering, Hemel Hempstead, Heathfield and 11 boroughs of London, and they will join the 87 others who have been trained since the start of the initiative in September 2014.
“I pay tribute to each and every one of you in this movement. You leave a legacy of excellence and a fine ethos and tradition for generations to come.”
Ram Gidoomal, patron of Street Pastors
“We thank God for the healing touch on many lives through street pastors. We pray for the right resources for this ministry and we anticipate your mighty hand in this work.”
