Bromsgrove Street Pastors win Safer Bromsgrove award
Bromsgrove Street Pastors were delighted to win the Safer Bromsgrove category at the Spirit of Bromsgrove Awards.
The award was presented by the new Inspector for Bromsgrove, Inspector Sarah Corteen, and the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Mr Barrie Sheldon.
On receiving the award Jo Pavely said, “On behalf of everyone at Bromsgrove Street Pastors, we are very humbled to have won this award tonight and thank everyone that has helped to make the project such a success – the Police, District and County Council, the pub landlords who have worked with us so readily, and the people of Bromsgrove who have taken us into their hearts.
“It’s the first long-term project that the churches in Bromsgrove have undertaken together. With collaborative working and our God to guide us – we couldn’t fail.”
