Priscilla McBean has finally come to an end of her role as Chair of Trustees for Gravesham Street & School Pastors after a decade. Priscilla, a committed follower of Jesus, has served as Chair for 10 years, and has been instrumental to the success of the initiative. A Senior Street Pastor and an active School Pastor serving people of all ages, has impacted the lives of so many within the community of Gravesham. Pricilla is known of going way above the call of duty patrolling the Streets of Gravesend late at night and age has never been a factor of her ministry towards others. Gravesham had their AGM on the 16th May, where our beloved Chair passed the baton over to Cllr Joran Meade. A lot of mixed emotions as Priscilla is so well loved within the church community, however we think the timing is right for our “Madam Chair” who by the way is in her late 70’s to take a well deserved break, but also to be truly honoured for her impeccable leadership skills. Pricilla was handed gifts alongside an award that has inscribed “In appreciation for your many years of dedication, commitment, support, encouragement, and devoted hours as Chair of Trustees and to the ministry of Gravesham Street Pastors. THANK YOU”. We were also honoured to have the Mayor of Gravesham and the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent to join in the presentation. I’m sure that Pricilla being herself will still be involved with the continued development of the project. We pray God’s richest blessings for the next chapter of her journey, and gave a scripture verse from Matthew 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant!” – Pricilla we love you!
